Join Australian Artist, Sarah Hankinson as she guides you through an array of materials to draw and paint your own Still Life & Botanicals. This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in drawing or intermediates who want a different take on their creative processes. Sarah's practice blends traditional and non traditional approaches to still life and botanical art - no experience in drawing or painting is required. Over the course of the class, Sarah will guide you through the fundamentals of drawing and painting botanical and still life compositions. You will learn techniques such as accurate observation, shading, line, tone and composition and work with mediums including pencil, oil and soft pastel, watercolour and ink. You will take home a series of botanical artworks and mixed media studies created during class in a range of materials and mediums.
